Over the weekend, several supercar owners were treated to a bespoke tour of the facilities at Princess Yachts International’s historic South Yard site.
Princess Motor Yacht Sales invited members of the Supercar Southwest Owner’s Club for a visit to the home of Princess Yachts in Plymouth. Eight supercar’s arrived at the Newport Street Head Office before heading to South Yard.
Guests were taken on a tour of the M Class superyacht manufacturing facilities, the historical protected buildings and even stepped on board the latest 40M.
The historic tour included the No. 1 Covered Slip, Kings Hill Gazebo - a memorial built to commemorate George III’s visit to the site in 1789, and the 18th century Ropery which now houses development mock-ups for new upcoming Princess models. In contrast to the historic monuments the Club were then given a tour of the impressive superyacht facilities where the 30M, 35M and 40M are built.
